When it comes to schoolwork, my daughter is very independent and wants to work on things in the order she chooses. Mr. D Math Digital Music Production fits the way she works perfectly since it is entirely self-paced.

Students can watch the lectures and work through the assignments on their own followed by the quizzes which are graded immediately. You can access all the assignments and their quiz grades easily as well. In fact, it will even calculate a grade for you which is always helpful for a homeschool mom.

I mentioned earlier that there are no books or services to purchase even though the assignments obviously involve a variety of technologies including digital audio workstations and synthesizers. Luckily all the needed tools are provided free for the students to work on through links supplied in the course.

Not only is this helpful for our homeschool budget, but it also decreases the time spent either by ourselves or our kids hunting for the correct tool for the course. Being a homeschool mom who is not technologically inclined, I appreciate this.

Having safe links in the course that allow my kids to access needed technologies is great too. They aren't having to search the internet for what they need to complete an assignment. Always a safer option plus it means they are less likely to be distracted by other things on the internet.
